WEEK 2

Monday is the day I am "official" to be a teacher. I wear Sasirangan clothes, South Borneo clothes, nice clothes with black yellow and carved. Francis asked him to put on display. After collecting the Daily Lesson Plan with the K to 12 curriculum format, I went to STEM-B class. Today I'm going to introduce around Waves. But before that I went to the Science Faculty room to borrow Projector as a tool for me today. While in class, I set up my laptop and markers on the table. One of the students helped me install the cables to connect between the projector and the laptop. The lesson begins, I open it with the words "Good Morning, Class!" And pray. I will continue to get used to learning by praying that God will allow my writing to convey what I teach. I open the discussion with a review of previous material that is still related to my material, then I convey the core discussion through powerpoint slides, animations, and interesting videos. Student responses such as "oooooo .... Or woooww or hahahahaha "is an encouragement for me. I love it very much and hope it will continue like this until my last day here. Then I gave a sample problem and they asked me to do it in groups and write the results on the board. And At the end of the meeting, I gave the assignment of homework assignments to be collected tomorrow. Oh yes, for STEM B they have Physics class every Monday until Thursday from 7.45-8.45 While STEM A from Tuesday-Friday from 8.45-9.45 For Bacon and Aquinas STEM in the first week, we learned: Day 1: Waves Day 2: Sound and Sound Intensity Day 3: Superposition, Interference, Beats, and Standing Waves Day 4: Doppler Effect The most exciting of all is on Tuesday, where we measure our hearing ability using the "Hearing Test" Feature. We know that the human ear can hear sounds around 20-20000 Hz. We all prove it is true, there are students who have a hearing range of 114-14000 Hz but others who have 60-15000 Hz hearing. Students really enjoy learning on that day. (I teach in STEM Aquinas class With the same learning materials and the same method) But there is a difference. In this class for the first material on Waves, I practice the formation of transverse and longitudinal waves directly using Slinky. While in STEM B class I just show it through animation.
